In Dubreuilville, Ontario, we are developing a 3-level multi-family apartment building. Dubreuilville provides a great opportunity as the Dubreuiville mine area is expected to double over the next few years. The mining companies in the area are currently encouraging all their staff to move to Dubreuilville, which will increase the demand for housing in the town. However, there is a lack of accommodation in Dubreuilville and in the surrounding communities.
The apartment complex will help assist some of the 300+ employees that are expected to work in the mines. The mine is set for a 17-year lifespan with the option of expanding its underground operations and increasing the life of the mine. These people have strong ties to the town and would be compelled to leave if there are no new houses.
